Job Summary

Responsible for planning and designing new software and web applications. Analyzes, tests and assists with the integration of new applications. Oversees the documentation of all development activity. Trains non-technical personnel. Assists with tracking performance metrics. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Design and improve holistic product experience from visual experiences, interactions, and workflows within DataBee

  • Advocate for the user while working partnering with product managers to strategically solve complex problems

  • Present UX/ UI designs to stakeholders, users, and development teams in both a formal and informal setting

  • Own the user experience from concept to implementation, testing features once developed to ensure designed correctly

  • Create design system and user journey maps for each persona of the DataBee SAAS application.

  • Drive a user-centric, interactive, and collaboration design process revolving around rapid prototyping, user research, customer testimony, and continuous improvement & deployment

  • Work with engineers to implement designs in ReactJS, based on prototypes created in Figma.

Additional Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer, developer or engineer.
  • Demonstrated expertise and proficiency with graphical design tools (Figma preferred, Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop desirable in addition).
  • Demonstrated expertise in UI/UX design for web application, ideally SaaS or enterprise products
  • Demonstrated experience in developing wireframe and high-fidelity visual mockups.
  • Effective communication and storytelling skills.
  • Familiarity and experience working with CSS and web application theming; knowledge of ReactJS is desirable
