Job Summary
The Executive Director of ML and Ad Marketplace will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our ads marketplace on Universal Ads. As a technical product leader with deep expertise in data science, machine learning, auction dynamics, and data modeling, you will develop and execute a vision to optimize our ads marketplace and build rigor around data science among the organization. Your work will have a direct impact on improving advertiser performance and monetization efforts while maintaining a high quality consumer experience. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and hands-on leader who can collaborate, and deliver results in a highly dynamic and cross-functional environment.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee strategies related to the optimization of our ads marketplace, including auctions, pricing mechanisms, supply expansion, ad relevance, targeting, and overall advertising effectiveness.
- Design, implement, and operationalize advanced algorithms and models to improve marketplace efficiency, optimize ad performance, and support diverse advertiser objectives.
- Lead the development and integration of machine learning and AI models within Universal Ads, exploring innovative applications to enhance the ad marketplace.
- Analyze large sets of data to uncover trends and insights that can be used to improve product planning, go-to-market efforts, and business decision making.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product marketing, sales, and other teams to drive alignment and deliver impactful solutions.
- Build products that support various advertiser goals, including novel bid and ad ranking methodologies, while balancing performance and consumer experience.
- Serve as the subject matter expert in machine learning, artificial intelligence, data science, data modeling for monetization and marketplace initiatives.
- Act as a cross-functional advocate for marketplace innovation, ensuring strategic alignment across teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years in ad tech with a focus on data science, auctions, machine learning, and marketplace optimization.
- Advanced degree in mathematics, data science, computer science, or related fields.
- Strong background in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and modeling, with experience in deploying algorithms into production environments.
- Proficiency in working with large-scale data processing and complex data infrastructure.
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and deliver high-impact results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to advocate for technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

Primary Location Pay Range: $293,755.64 - $440,633.46This job can be performed in New York, and New York City with a Pay Range of $293,755.64 - $459,791.43Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
