We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Security Sales Director to lead our cybersecurity sales overlay team. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing high-performing sales teams, and expanding our footprint in the managed security services space which include security products such as MDR, XDR and EDR. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in consultative and value-based selling, team mentorship, and strategic business development in high-growth environments.Job Description
In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional sales teams with both direct and in-direct sellers to develop and execute comprehensive security sales strategies that are complimentary to Comcast Business technologies such as MPLS, SASE, and SD-WAN, driving initiatives to business outcomes.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a team of security-focused sales professionals, including both direct sellers and channel partners.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue goals for cybersecurity services such as MDR, XDR, EDR, SIEM, and security focused network products to include SASE, ZTNA, and CASB.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, channel partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Mentor, coach, and train the sales team to enhance consultative selling techniques and product knowledge.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to align offerings with market demands and client feedback.
- Participate in industry events, panels, and roundtables to represent the company and evangelize our security solutions.
- Utilize data-driven forecasting and pipeline management to ensure accuracy and accountability across the sales organization.
- Drive the expansion of existing business and unlock new revenue streams through innovative go-to-market strategies.
- Support internal enablement efforts by developing resources, training content, and best practices for security sales.
- Lead sales planning efforts including performance reviews, territory design, and incentive strategy.
- Continuously engage with our cybersecurity partners/OEMs such as Cisco, Fortinet, Rapid 7, SentinelOne, & many others in the industry.
- Stay abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies to best position Comcast in the marketplace.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or technology sales, with at least 3–5 years in a sales leadership role.
- Proven ability to drive team performance and revenue growth, ideally with experience scaling international or multi-regional teams.
- Strong background in selling managed security services, SD-WAN, or enterprise IT solutions with a consultative approach that tailors solutions that address client specific business challenges.
- Deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, including threat detection, compliance, and risk management.
- Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing sales professionals.
- Experience working with indirect channel partners and systems integrators.
- Ability to communicate complex security solutions in a clear, value-focused manner to technical and executive audiences.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and partner engagements.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
