Access Solutions Engineer 2: Role is essential- Supports off-net FEDGOV quoting.Elevated role, problem solver, clear communicator, project management skills required.
This position has high visibility and requires a high level of urgency. Role is very important to the business for FedGov customers/revenue.
• Core Responsibilities:
• Responsible for providing offnet access quote responses to the sales organization within the stated SLA response time. Respond to a variety of cost and product questions pertaining to an offnet sales deal.
• Ability to Negotiate aggressive pricing with the offnet vendors and offer alternatives to meet the customer requirements.
• Drive vendors to provide financial targets. Drive vendors to provide best cost options for quotes by leveraging footprint, access method and competition at the deal site.
• Investigate and identify any additional costs for deals ahead of time and communicate to sales, product, and operational organizations.
• Project Management Skills
• Experience in supporting sales.
• Vendor knowledge/experience
• Multi-gig quoting
• Diversity requests- understanding maps/routes.
• Work with cross functional groups, SS, SE, Finance on complex, strategic projects.
• Provide special handling on high-visibility customer projects, which include managing project calls with sales teams and vendors.
• Use network and engineering skills to solve moderate to complex design requests with vendors, including diversity and fiber routes.
• Strategic pursuits (Either Ethernet or BB)

• Able to understand special requirements and nuances- requires attention to detail, fast learning.
• Contribute to continued business process improvement efforts by identifying and communicating process and systems gaps.
• Continuously improve product and vendor network knowledge to improve efficiency in quoting and customer experience.

• Be able to have positive and productive relationship with peers and internal stakeholders including delivering difficult messages and deescalating if needed.
• Additionally, quoters need to be able to have discussions with external vendors, building a positive partnership, and when needed, holding the vendors accountable.
• Strong in the approach to work, be willing to seek out new challenges and bring forth new ideas, process ideas, being a problem solver and a positive leader on the team.
Job Description

- Continuously improve product and vendor network knowledge to improve efficiency in quoting and customer experience.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Compensation
National Pay Range: $43,073.09 USD-$100,952.56 USDComcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
