SNAP Connect Intern-Livingston

Woodford County Health Department

Position: Part-Time/Temporary (through June 2027)

Salary: $18.00/hour

Hours: 16 per week

Qualifications

• Required:

o High-School Diploma

o Ability to work independently and support team-based tasks.

o Basic computer and data entry skills, including familiarity with online portals

o Valid Illinois driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation

What You’ll Do

• As a SNAP Connect Intern, you will:

o Conduct outreach at community locations.

o Provide SNAP prescreening and application assistance.

o Assist clients with documentation and ABE portal use.

o Maintain communication with the Woodford County Community Health Worker.

o Track client encounters, applications, and referrals.

o Support SNAP-Ed-aligned educational programs at host site.
