Vonachen Group is looking to hire a Forklift Driver in Chillicothe, IL.

The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, locate, load, and unload products within a warehouse or production environment. This role ensures efficient workflow, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. This person is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other industrial vehicles to transport materials and products
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers safely and efficiently
• Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and loading docks
• Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance or safety issues
• Operate grit blasting equipment to clean and prepare metal or component parts
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
  
  

Job Requirements

• • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, either orally or in writing
  • Must follow all health and safety requirements
  • Good communication skills
  • Customer-oriented and friendly
• Education and Experience
• • High school diploma or GED
  • Successfully pass training: Lock-Out-Tag-Out, Confined Spaces, Aerial Lifts, Forklift, Gator/Cart, Fall Protection, PPE, and Bloodborne Pathogens
• Physical Requirements
• • Stand and walk for long periods of time; climb stairs
  • Repeat the same movements
  • Frequent bending and twisting
  • Able to lift, push & pull 50lbs
  • Work at heights to 40 feet
  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

• Full Time 1st shift
• Monday - Sunday *weekends as needed*
• 8AM - 4PM
• $18/HR

The Following Shifts Are Available

• Day shift
• Weekend shift
