Responsibilities
- Determine cause of malfunction through the use of test equipment, test drives, service information (bulletins) and information supplied by customers
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Review vehicle history files
- Maintain regular attendance at shop meetings
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Return Company tools to designated areas daily
- Maintain required production levels 100-110%
Qualifications
- Ability to work well with others
- A desire to do tasks correctly the first time
- Goal oriented
- Technical training
- Certification or any previous experience in a related position
- Professional attitude and capable of working with customers
- Maintain a clean and neat personal appearance
- Must be able to perform all required functions of this position
- Must have a valid Illinois driver's license and an acceptable driving record
Hours:
Monday - Friday 7:30AM until 4:00PM
Saturday - 7:00AM until 12:00PM (once per month)
