Business Development Manager - On Highway Trucks
Remote with up to 50% travel
Objective We are expanding our team dedicated to delivering market-leading services in the heavy transportation industry. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by developing new opportunities and strengthening customer relationships within the On Highway Truck segment. This is a new segment for TRIGO and as such we are looking for an experienced initiative-taking sales professional who has the connections and experience to target this segment and generate new business revenues. The role requires an assertive and proactive approach to identifying and addressing customer needs, delivering tailored solutions, and expanding the company's market presence.

Director, Business Development and Deployment
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with new clients in the On Highway Truck sector through effective prospecting, hunting, networking, and marketing strategies.
- Communicate with key decision-makers regarding our quality services to achieve and exceed sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create customized solutions that address customer needs and ensure seamless product and service delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering exceptional service to maintain trust and long-term partnerships.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, understand competitor activity, and uncover untapped opportunities in key regions within the USA.
- Regularly review account performance, provide strategic recommendations to maximize revenue, and prepare detailed reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and market developments.
- Manage the sales pipeline effectively and document customer communications, information, updates and interactions in CRM.
- Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations that highlight our services, emphasizing key features and benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of successful sales experience; Must possess experience in sales or delivery of technical services to On-highway OEM truck customers
- An understanding of technical concepts relevant in manufacturing environments (quality, operational efficiency, logistics, etc.)
- Experience selling to operations, purchasing, quality, supply chain preferable
- Working familiarity of on highway truck (or other relevant industries) quality systems such as TS-16949 or ISO 9001
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business or equivalent experience.
