The Sun Collectors are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our organization. This person will be responsible for promoting the principles, values, vision and mission of the company by executing its HR functions. As the Human Resources Manager, you will oversee recruitment and hiring, employee relations, performance management and compensation, benefits administration and payroll, and aid in environmental health and safety.

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for:

• Managing all aspects of recruitment to include job creation, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers to selected candidates.
• Onboarding new employees by completing background checks, I-9 verification,employment paperwork, and new hire orientation.
• Assist with personnel relations to include performance management, investigations, corrective actions plans, unemployment insurance and claims processes,
• Keeping current with HR Laws and Regulations to include EEO, Anti-discrimination, Harassment, Compensation, Benefits, ADA, Working Conditions, Workers Compensation, and other areas as needed to remain compliant with both state and federal employment laws.
• Develop new HR programs and policies that align with the organization’s mission, vision, values and corporate business strategy.
• Responsible for Payroll and Benefits administration for all employees.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience in the Human Resources field; HR Generalist, HR Manager, or a similar position.
• Experience in an HR environment with salaried, exempt, and contract employees.
• Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to exert professionalism and a high level of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive issues.
• Attention to detail, time management, and organization skills
• Must be proficient with the Google Suite.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel between facilities.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
• 5+ years' experience as an HR Manager
• Experienced in recruiting and hiring hourly and sales employees in Solar or related field
• Experience developing HR Processes and Policies
• HR Certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or similar
