Salary Ranges:

CNC Machine Operator : $22.50 - $34.57

Position classification will be measured on relevant experience and on-the-job pre-employment test results.

Located in Minonk, Illinois, SMF (an Etnyre International Company) is a full-service metal manufacturing facility that specializes in heavy and light fabrication for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Our organization has a fifty-year history servicing the construction, power generation, agriculture, and mining industries. Ninety-five percent of SMF’s business is as a Tier One supplier to OEMs, so we are held to high standards by our Fortune 500 clients. That’s why we are in the top ½ percent of machine shops nationwide. With more than 200,000 square feet of manufacturing capabilities between our two facilities, Our processes include everything from engineering and fabrication to multiple finishing options. In late 2020, SMF joined the Etnyre International team and is now a part of an exciting growing organization. We are looking for energetic experienced CNC Machine Operators to join our 2nd shift team.

• Ability to read gauges and tape measures
• Ability to operate overhead cranes
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
• Professional Certification is a plus
• Proven experience as CNC Milling Machine Center Operator (preferred)
• Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
• Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
• A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
• Good communication abilities
