Key Responsibilities - Administer and support network infrastructure including DHCP, DNS, routers, firewalls, and related systems.
- Deploy and manage LAN/WAN routing and switching in small to medium-sized environments.
- Implement and maintain VoIP technologies.
- Troubleshoot network issues to isolate and diagnose problems effectively.
- Collect requirements, analyze, design, implement, document, test, monitor, and maintain data and communication networks.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for network configurations and architecture.
- Monitor network performance and capacity; perform preventative maintenance and plan for future infrastructure needs.
- Manage network security solutions and ensure compliance with security policies.
- Maintain inventory and practice asset management for all network components.
- Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to assess and fulfill network requirements.
- Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to procure network products and services.
- Develop and execute test plans and scripts for network configurations.
- Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and training plans related to network operations.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Support incident, problem, and change management processes in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications and Experience - 5 years of hands-on experience in network administration or Engineering.
- Experience with LAN/WAN design and deployment
- Experience with network troubleshooting and performance monitoring
- Experience with configuration and management of routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices
- Experience with VoIP systems (College diploma) and network security (College diploma) solutions
- Experience writing network (College diploma) documentation and asset management
- Experience working with vendors and stakeholders to support infrastructure needs
- Experience with: Protocols and services CP/IP, BGP, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, TACACS+
- Familiarity with: Network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark)
- Familiarity with: Cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with Incident and change management processes
- Four-year degree from an accredited university or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, RADIUS and TACACS+)
- Experience with LAN/WAN design, deployment, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in configuring routers, Switches, Firewalls, Access Points and VoIP systems
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and virtualization
- Skilled in network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds)
- Knowledge of network security practices and compliance standards
- Ability to document configurations and maintain network asset inventory
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Capable of developing test plans and implementing network policies
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and Adaptability
Additional Information - Tasks are normally conducted in a regular office environment, requiring use of computer, mouse, drawing tablet, and other standard office equipment. Staff usually remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Staff will observe safety principles while performing the duties of the position.
- Staff may need to lift and move items up to 35 lbs. on occasion.
- Staff may be required to travel and have a valid driver's license.

Pay Range: $78,000-$118,600 Starting pay usually falls within the lower half of the pay range and is determined by experience, skills, and education. Benefits Include: - Performance-based incentive pay
