Key Responsibilities - Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and helping to implement solutions.
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
- Updating, implementing, communicating, and maintaining procedures.
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
- Collaborating on projects with the program and software development teams, supporting them as directed.
- Work with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision, and assist in prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Performing requirements analysis, analyzing requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
- Identifies and establishes scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.
- Assists with the interpretation of customer requirements into feasible options, and communicating these back to the business stakeholders.
- Works with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements.
- Manages and tracks the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.
- Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements — verbally or through written documentation — to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
- Produce Requirement Traceability Matrix, As-Is, and To-Be documents where needed.
- Creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
- Interviewing key stakeholders on current and future projects and providing reports of findings.
- Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.
- Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Managing competing resources and priorities.
- Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Providing guidance to junior staff members when necessary.
- Serving as a liaison between stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience - Four-year degree from an accredited university or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, preferably in technology-related work.
- Staff are required to possess applicable knowledge to bring value to SMI in this role, know and utilize resources well, ask questions to ensure full understanding. gain and retain knowledge to keep up with changes, and accept and engage with training to grow knowledge for current and future responsibilities.

Additional Information - Tasks are normally conducted in a regular office environment, requiring use of computer and mouse and other standard office equipment. Staff usually remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Staff will observe safety principles while performing the duties of the position.
- Staff will be required to travel and have a valid driver’s license.
- May need to lift and move items up to 35 lbs on occasion.

Pay Range: $61,600.00 - $91,100.00. Starting pay usually falls within the lower half of the pay range and is determined by experience, skills, and education. Benefits Include: - Performance-based incentive pay
