Summary The Administrative Assistant II serves the members of Samaritan Ministries International (SMI) by providing administrative support to Director(s) as required and assists other staff with general office duties. Key Responsibilities - Provide general office administrative services including monitoring and maintaining manager's e-mails
- Provide office administrative support for meeting scheduling
- Collect and prepare information for various management reports
- Arrange meetings as required, and provide meeting support when necessary
- Assign work to support staff to meet required deadlines
- Assist and support specific departments as needed
- Assist in coordinating team and office events
- Assist in improving administrative efficiency, and recommend various administrative procedures
- Assist in the analysis of electronic records, and manipulate data as required
- Attend meetings and take minutes when required
- Coordinate travel arrangements and support managers with the process for expense claims
- Prepare letters, documents, reports, and presentations as required
- Assist management with budgeting, planning and other administrative duties
- Contribute to the development of business planning, technology planning, and process development related to change initiatives
- Establish work priorities and delegate work to office support staff
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Participate in research and other special projects as required
- Participate in team and strategy meetings as required
Qualifications and Experience - Two-year degree from an accredited university or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certified Administrative Professional (CAP)
- Professional Administrative Certification of Excellence (PACE)
- Administrative Assistant Certification (CAA)
- Must be flexible and able to handle multiple ongoing tasks simultaneously
- Detail oriented (Intermediate)
- Team player who works well with team
- Must have initiative and be able to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good time management skills (Intermediate)
- Ability to interact with people in a friendly and professional manner

Additional Information - Tasks are normally conducted in a regular office environment, requiring use of computer and mouse and other standard office equipment. Staff usually remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Staff will observe safety principles while performing the duties of the position.
- Staff will be required to travel and have a valid driver’s license.
- May need to lift and move items up to 35 lbs on occasion.

Pay Range: $17.90-$24.35 Starting pay usually falls within the lower half of the pay range and is determined by experience, skills, and education. Benefits Include: - Performance-based incentive pay
