We are looking for an experienced professional to join our rapidly growing Global Banking Risk Consulting Practice, focused on Process Risk and Controls Consulting. Candidates for this role will join a diverse, high-performing team of professionals with extensive experience working with top US and Global Banking institutions in a multitude of capacities. As a member of our Process Risk and Controls Consulting practice, focused on serving global banking institutions, candidates will step into a dynamic culture that values innovative thinking, solution-focused collaboration, and diversity of thought and experience, all while providing opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

As a Temporary PRC Data Management Manager, you will have the opportunity to draw from your technical experience and knowledge to continue to grow your leadership skills and practice The fast-paced and dynamic environment in which we operate will provide you with daily challenges and exciting opportunities. You will work for one of our largest, global clients with over $200B in assets in a role that is mainly focused on data management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aggregate and report data in compliance with BCBS 239 standards.
  • Prepare and oversee documentation related to data management and governance.
  • Conduct research and develop informed points of view based on findings.
  • Engage in conversations with audit teams to determine scope and document requirements.
  • Supervise and guide team members in their tasks.
  • Lead projects, oversee execution of fieldwork, and present findings during client meetings.
  • Review work papers and facilitate the presentation of results to client stakeholders.
  • Interpret and present findings and observations during client exit meetings.

Technical Experience:

  • Advanced understanding of internal controls concepts and their application in complex global banking organizations.
  • Experience interpreting policies, procedures, and controls of business applications, networks, and operating systems.
  • Consulting experience with client leadership on strategic plans and emerging risks.
  • Ability to assess and provide guidance on internal controls, risk exposures, and remediation plans.
  • Reviewing documentation, evaluation, and testing of application controls.

Client Experience:

  • Leverage industry trends and business acumen to propose dynamic solutions.
  • Own management-level relationships and interact with executive stakeholders.
  • Lead risk assessment interviews and develop audit plans.
  • Review client deliverables and lead formal closing meetings.
  • Manage project economics and expectations around billing and collections.

Talent Experience:

  • Encourage creative thinking and growth through development opportunities.
  • Manage, motivate, and mentor teams to optimize capabilities.
  • Provide and receive candid feedback for self-development.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, accounting, data science or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit, internal audit, or related internal control positions serving large global banking institutions.
  • Job relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CIA).
  • Strong knowledge of operational and liquidity risks.
  • Experience leading project-based work with defined timelines.
  • Experience managing people, mentoring staff, and providing performance feedback.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel and work collaboratively in-person or remotely.
  • Demonstrated success in high-pressure scenarios.

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $80 - $120 per hour
