RSM’s Center for Advanced Tax Technology (“CATT”) is one of the fastest growing tax practice groups at RSM. The CATT team is focused on enhancing RSM US and global ability to deliver comprehensive, value-added, and efficient Tax products and services to our clients. It is a dynamic team with professionals of varying backgrounds from tax functional, tax technical, technology development, and product management. The team consults and executes on a wide range of initiatives involving process and tool development and implementation including training development, engagement management, tool design, and implementation.

JOB SUMMARY

The QA Automation Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, enhancing, and executing manual and automation test plans, test scripts & test methodologies to ensure thorough testing takes place for meeting all designated software specifications and compliance. Candidates must exhibit good problem-solving skills (for moderately difficult problems involving analysis and solution design) and excellent automation skills; and a desire to lead and mentor a team of QA resources (Associates/Sr. Associates) towards the set guidelines/processes. The role requires continuous growth of technical, business, and people skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Develop and maintain manual and automation test cases to ensure that software meets development, usability, functional, and security standards and additionally meets defined requirements for the software.

  • Create an Automation Test Plan and conduct a Test Plan walkthrough for project team.

  • Assist in various types of application testing such as manual, regression and performance testing using our testing tools through comprehensive test scenarios.

  • Examine and document all testing results and assist in identifying reasons for why actual results do not match expected testing results.

  • Assist in setting up and executing usability testing and user acceptance testing, as needed.

  • Lead and mentor QA Associates/QA Sr. Associates.

  • Attend Project/Team meetings and contribute feedback based on testing results and status on project deliverables.

  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7 to 9 years of QA experience

  • Selenium Automation experience in keyword driven framework/Cucumber framework.

  • Understanding of Quality Assurance processes for software application testing

  • Knowledge of designated testing tool suite such as Quality Center / Azure DevOps / Jira

  • At least 5-6 years of real working experience with web-based projects

  • Knowledge in SQL queries

  • Experience in working with REST APIs, understanding of Soap APIs

  • Experience in API Testing and its automation tools like Postman.

  • Understanding of Swagger API Platform

  • Understanding of HTML/CSS/JS or JQuery

  • Experience in working with automation testing tools like Selenium, WebDriverIO

  • Knowledge of bug life cycle

  • Knowledge of SDLC

  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum/Kanban

  • Experience with version control systems GIT, VSTS / Azure DevOps.

  • Understanding of basic Accounting or Business processes

  • Experience with web automation testing tools (e.g. Selenium Webdriver)

  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter)

  • Quality Assurance certification from an accredited program

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

Compensation Range: $102,200 - $189,200
