Position Purpose

Under minimal supervision, support the administration of the company’s mailroom operations. Pick up and deliver incoming mail within the appropriate office. Place appropriate postage on outgoing mail, and provide customer service to employees on mailing matters.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Pick up incoming mail from the local post office.

  • Sort, open, and distribute incoming mail to home office departments as required.

  • Fulfill company requests for basic supplies (paper, envelopes and other printed materials etc.).

  • Place appropriate postage on outgoing mail and packages.

  • Provide customer service to internal contacts regarding mail services.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for printed and non-printed materials.

  • Assist with various duties in the Print and Mail Services area as needed.

Education & Experience

  • Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent

  • 0+ years of related experience

  • [OR] equivalent level of education and experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Competencies

  • Ability to use mailing equipment to ensure outgoing and incoming mail are processed appropriately and accurately.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal contacts on mailing and postage matters.

  • Basic computer skills including MS Office and Excel.

  • Strong service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively.

  • Requires basic math aptitude.

  • The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
