Position Purpose
Provides system administration and support to generate and distribute billing invoices, statements and notices. Identifies, analyzes and resolves system/billing issues. Analyzes, provides recommendations, and implements new business processes into billing cycle. Maintains appropriate documentation and provides monthly reports to management.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Generate and distribute billing invoices, statements, and delinquent notices
Support department databases/software
Maintain process documentation and instruction manuals
Provide monthly reporting on aged receivables and matters of collection to management
Education & Experience
Requires an Associate’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, or related field with 3.0/4.0 cumulative GPA and two to three years of systems support and/or accounting/billing experience or higher level related degree.
Knowledge, Skills, & Competencies
Knowledge of insurance transactions in order to accurately bill deductibles
Ability to define and document requirements in order to create/modify and test software solutions using applications available to business users
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
Ability to learn and utilize software solutions (computer aptitude)
