Job description
Join an elite and highly skilled manufacturing team specializing in the design and build of custom powder handling equipment. Our products are used in the manufacture of life-saving drugs across the world. Pay Range: $23-26.00/hr Objectives: - Perform detailed inspections of products to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards. - Perform incoming material inspections to prevent defective parts from entering the manufacturing process. - Collaborate with production staff to contain detected defects and ensure proper correction - Maintain accurate inspection records, documenting all defects, corrective actions taken, and inspection outcomes. - Assist in the implementation and monitoring of quality control measures and continuous improvement processes within the manufacturing environment. - Ensure all products comply with industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements - Regularly calibrate and maintain inspection tools and equipment - Support Quality team leadership in quality assurance and compliance activities. - Complete all other tasks as assigned by the supervisor from time to time. Success in This Role Looks Like: - Zero defective products shipped to customers. - Efficient processing of quality checks to ensure on-time delivery of products. - Improved processes that decrease quality issues because of Quality Inspector findings and suggestions. Minimum Qualifications Education: - High School Diploma or GED Software: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Teams, Outlook) - Familiarity with an Enterprise Resource Planning software (Epicor Kinetic preferred) Experience: - 2+ years of relevant work experience Traits: - Superb Communication – Understandably and naturally get your ideas/instructions/points across - Detail-Orientation - High attention to detail and highly organized - Extreme Ownership – Ability to see a project through from beginning to end, no matter the obstacle - Team Focused – You make any team better and are easy to work with - Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in quality inspection-related role. Working Conditions - Must be able to engage in the following physical activities: bend/stoop, climb stairs/ladders, squat, kneel, push/pull, lift up to 50 lbs, and use vibratory and other basic tools. - Expected to work the standard workday of 8 hours. - Expected to work overtime upon manager request.
