As a Enterprise Infrastructure Manager Sr within PNC’s ETH&E organization. This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographical locations.

PNC is looking for an experienced senior cloud leader to contribute to the development and execution of PNC’s cloud strategy. You will leverage your hands on expertise and thought leadership in cloud technologies to ensure a seamless adoption and maturation of PNC’s public cloud environment.

Responsibilities:
• Collaboration with stakeholders to develop a comprehensive cloud strategy aligned with PNC’s business goals and industry best practices.
• Provide a clear vision and roadmap for PNC’s public cloud offerings that not only enables meets the demands of our customers, but also enables the development of products that are flexible, scalable, and maintainable.
• Assess cloud work efforts, establish timelines to complete those work efforts, and direct cloud engineering team to meet those committed timelines.
• Lead in architectural decisions and strategies for PNC’s public cloud platform.
• Establish and enforce cloud governance policies, ensuring compliance with security, risk and regulatory standards. Implement cost management practices to optimize public cloud expenditure.
• Build and lead a high-performing cloud engineering team, provide mentorship, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Provide the day-to-day support of PNC’s public cloud environment.
Required:
• At least 7 years of experience in cloud technology, including extensive experience with major cloud service providers (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• A proven track record of successfully leading and delivering cloud adoption projects in a senior leadership capacity.
• Previous experience in the financial industry is a plus.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security, compliance, and cost management.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

Job Description

• Delivers products/services in alignment with business needs and objectives. Responsible for multiple teams or departments within the Enterprise Infrastructure function.
• Leads infrastructure planning, development strategies/initiatives and product lifecycle/service orientation; determines current and future enterprise infrastructure needs. Oversees portfolio/program/project management responsibilities. Directs financial management and risk management capabilities.
• Leads stable and secure environment, incident management, product health/patching, and the asset management lifecycle. Communicates with vendors, suppliers and executive management to ensure availability of infrastructure technologies and support.
• Designs best practices for technology architecture and management.
• Directs, motivates, develops and oversees the performance of the management team and key staff.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry-relevant experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
