Job Title: INSPECTOR

Description: Performs inspections of products packaged in the packaging area.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Inspect all cases in assigned packing area, following the pre-close process.
• Inspect product after packed into cases.
• Perform case audits and turn in at the end of the shift.
• Check product coming from the tables, watching for multiples and close units.
• Record errors on the error sheet.
• Use EWM monitor, as needed, to help investigate errors.
• Effectively communicate errors with the individual that makes the error and their supervisor.
• Observe packing tables to make sure processes are being done correctly.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Strength/Physical Demands

• Stand on your feet for 8 hours or more.
• Ability to stand, bend and lift.
• May lift or move 10 pounds with occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
  
  

Work Conditions

• Fast-paced work environment.
• Willing to work 40 hours per week.
• Work with limited supervision and follow detailed instructions.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Good documentation skills.
• Ability to communicate both written and orally.
  
  

Education/Experience

• Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
• High school diploma or GED.
