Expected pay for this position is $29.01 - $34.13/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.


Overview

This job is located in Peoria,IL

Monday-Friday

The MMS team supports Ministry-wide. This requires production shoots across all regions and hospitals.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Video Production Coordinator supports internal and external Marketing & Communications projects by producing videos and digital media. The Video Production Coordinator works directly with project teams and may work directly with internal and external clients and partners in the course of their project work.


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School/GED
Other Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license with ability to drive multimedia production van

Experience: Bachelor's degree in multimedia, communications, or related creative field or a minimum of 3 years of professional video production experience.

Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with modern camera systems, lighting and audio

Must be proficient in non-linear video editing techniques and software

Must be proficient in storytelling concepts and execution
Experience with animation concepts, processes and software.
Experience with photography and photo editing.
Ability to travel regularly for shoots.
Experience in video output and authoring standards.
Demonstrated ability to support multiple projects and tasks of varying complexities simultaneously, while meeting defined deadlines.

Experience in Adobe After Effects, Apple Motion or similar motion graphics software.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY:
Supports OSF HealthCare and Marketing & Communications strategic goals and marketing objectives.
Participates in the creative development of video and digital media projects from conceptualization to completion, including, but not limited to storyboarding, scripting, shooting and editing.
Collaborates with Marketing & Communications colleagues to ensure videography exemplifies the desired message and functions successfully for the target audience.
Ensures all video content complies with the Mission, Vision and Values of OSF HealthCare.
Maintains video archive and digital asset and file management systems, including overseeing the proper organization and tagging of stored and shared content.
Uses project management software to provide regular updates and communicate progress on projects.
Collaborates with internal and external clients and partners to achieve the finished product, including quoting, proofing and reviewing for quality control.
Stays up-to-date on modern video production and storytelling concepts, equipment, and techniques.

Ability to record medical procedures involving blood, wounds, incisions, and surgeries.
