Expected pay for this position is $41.82 - $49.21/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
Overview
This role is a blend of strategic planning, relationship management, operational improvement, and program oversight. A typical day includes connecting with IT leaders, advancing strategic initiatives, coordinating enterprise programs, reviewing progress on cost savings and surveys, and identifying opportunities for standardization, optimization, and innovation across the IT portfolio.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Information Technology (IT) Strategic Operations Coordinator serves as a strategic program expert and advisor to the IT Executive Team, blending innovation, program management, and performance improvement expertise to advance the organization's IT portfolio. This role partners closely with IT leadership to identify and operationalize strategic initiatives that improve performance, drive standardization, and introduce innovative solutions across IT Support, IT Project/Optimization, and enterprise technology functions. The coordinator rounds regularly with IT Management to understand operational needs, shape strategy, discuss barriers, and identify opportunities to improve processes, consistency, and value across the organization. The role also provides leadership in evaluating current and emerging technologies, aligning stakeholders, and supporting business cases, strategic assessments, cost savings initiatives, and enterprise programs that help IT remain innovative, efficient, and operationally effective.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, healthcare and 2 years of experience in information technology or healthcare OR High School Diploma/ GED and 5 years of experience in information technology or analytics.
Experience: Previous experience in program management, process improvement, LEAN, RIM, or other performance improvement methodology. Experience with artificial intelligence tools to gain workplace efficiency.
Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. Artificial Intelligence (AI).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Experience in healthcare IT, Architecting IT Solutions, project management, and leading teams in implementation of complex applications.
