Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.




SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS:

  • Weekend: $1.75/hour

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

​The PACE Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to participants which includes taking vital signs, assisting participants with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of participants for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in participant charts, communicating with other Participant Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to participants as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs.


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

High School Diploma/ GED

Experience:

1 year of experience working with a frail or elderly population or, if the individual has less than 1 year of experience but meets all other requirements, must receive appropriate training from the PACE organization on working with a frail or elderly population upon hiring.

Licensure/ Certification:

CNA- Certified Nursing Assistant

CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) required before providing patient care.

Maintains a valid driver's license.

Other Skills/ Knowledge:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

Provides own transportation and auto insurance and abides by all laws, rules and recommendations for safe driving while on duty.
