Expected pay for this position is $52.21 - $61.43/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Program Manager, Healthcare Design Integration, serves as a strategic partner to leaders and stakeholders to align healthcare planning and design decisions with established standards, operational models, and performance expectations. This position leads the integration of clinical, operational, and facility requirements into project scope and design solutions to reduce variation, improve efficiency, and support timely delivery. The position provides oversight and guidance across planning, design, preconstruction, construction, and closeout activities to support approved scope, budget, schedule, and risk objectives. This position also supports the development of consistent design integration practices and may mentor other program management team members.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, healthcare administration, nursing, health sciences, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience serving in healthcare construction project management, facilities management, owner’s representative, clinical practice, and/or client management role.
- Active state driver’s license.
Other Skills/Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary stakeholder engagement and facilitate decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
- Demonstrated ability to apply business, financial, and operational acumen to support project outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, including preparing presentations and executive-level summaries.
- Knowledge of healthcare programming, planning, design, and construction processes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, healthcare administration, nursing, health sciences, or a related field.
- 15 years of experience serving in healthcare construction project management, facilities management, owner’s representative, clinical practice, and/or client management role.
- Licensure Certification: Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC), Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM)

- Exemplary business, finance, and operations acumen.
- Advanced knowledge of current healthcare programming, planning, design, and construction processes.
- Advanced knowledge of healthcare delivery operational considerations in both the inpatient and ambulatory environments.
- Familiarity with Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) licensing requirements and Facility Guidelines Institute (FGI) Guidelines.
- Knowledge of current healthcare planning and programming concepts, including patient safety, and best practices.
