Expected pay for this position is $49.73 - $65.89/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: Directs the development, implementation, and evaluation of Medical Center training and development strategies to address accrediting and regulatory standards, service delivery, and industry conditions. Directs the development of educational programs to meet SFMC strategic direction. Directs the implementation of a blended learning environment. Effectively manages the assigned capital, financial, and human resources, and develops and implements appropriate plans, goals, budgets, and policies.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- MSN or Masters Degree in a health related field
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
License/Certification:
- Current State of Illinois license as a Registered Nurse
- Required to achieve ANCC Nursing Administrator management within two years of hire into the director position
Experience:
- Approximately 5-7 years progressively more responsible related work experience, including 2 years leadership experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of education and professional development
- Interpersonal skills necessary in order to provide effective leadership to subordinates, maintain a variety of internal and external contacts, and work cooperatively with physicians, a variety of Medical Center Managers, executives and staff.
- Analytical abilities necessary in order to evaluate patient care delivery systems and results; respond to problems by identifying and implementing appropriate corrective action; develop and administer sound policies, procedures, and budgets; and organize and oversee work of subordinates.
