POSITION SUMMARY: According to professional standards of care, the PA Fellow Cardiology performs a variety of advanced nursing / physician assistant functions. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Master’s degree in physician assistant studies (MPAS) Licensure/ Certification: Physician Assistant Certification. IL Physician Assistant License. Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics. Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
