Expected pay for this position is $49.73 - $65.89/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.


Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

In collaboration with IOL, clinical leadership, and Clinical Education and Professional Development teams, the Director of Clinical EHR Training and Optimization provides strategic leadership for the organization, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of onboarding and optimization training for clinical Mission Partners. This role ensures effective utilization of the OSF electronic medical record across OSF Healthcare and Pointcore hosted sites. The Director leads the design, development, and implementation of training and optimization initiatives that support strategic priorities and operational performance. Additionally, the role partners with senior leadership to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in electronic medical record utilization to drive quality, efficiency, and clinician adoption.


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, health information management or related field.

Experience:

  • 3 years of experience in healthcare leadership
  • 2 years of Epic EHR experience

Other Skills/ Knowledge:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing change initiatives

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Master's degree in healthcare, leadership, health information management.

Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience healthcare education leadership

Licensure/ Certification:

  • Certification in healthcare leadership, education, or Epic applications.
