The hourly rate for this position is $18.00/hour This is an Hourly position.
Overview
Intern will be working during summer 2026.
POSITION SUMMARY: Assist department staff with photo and video shoots, both on location and in studio. (Move, setup, tear down equipment). Assist staff with coordinating and scheduling shoots. Edit videos and/or photos into final products. Upload final files, and maintain department archive and internal libraries. Brainstorm ideas with current staff.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Student currently in-process of earning bachelor degree in multimedia, film, videography, photography, journalism, news production or related visual communications discipline.
- Proficient in operating video cameras
- Basic understanding of audio production techniques
- Understanding of image composition and variety of lighting techniques for video and still photography.
- Experience in using Adobe Premiere Pro and Lightroom
- Experience with Photoshop, After Effects and Davinci Resolve a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel.
- Ability to carry gear
- Ability to think and work independently
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous course work or experience in related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work on collaborative marketing or project teams and receive and act upon feedback from others.
- Flexibility with schedule. Shoot days can start early or go late.
