Expected pay for this position is $21.72 - $25.55/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to an OSF Vice President, Director and/or Department Manager. Maintains the leader(s) calendar, schedules appointments, resolves scheduling conflicts and makes travel arrangements. Provides general clerical support such record keeping, answering/routing calls, writing documents and creating presentations. Manages projects as assigned. Prioritizes work with minimal supervision. Demonstrates a high level of competence and professionalism including excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma/GED
  • 2 years of secretary and/or administrative experience

Other skills/knowledge

  • Intermediate level in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient with email and calendaring systems
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills in previous job or classwork
  • Demonstrated organizational and prioritizing skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's Degree
  • Working knowledge of MS Project and OneNote
  • Licensure/certification: Office Professional Certification
