Pay range for this position is $37.05 - $54.54/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is a Salaried position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Cardiogenic Shock Coordinator coordinates and participates in the clinical evaluation and management of patients with cardiogenic shock throughout the patient journey, from initial contact to post-discharge. Acts as the central point of contact and resource for patients and families. Provides expert education to community and caregivers regarding cardiogenic shock protocols, temporary mechanical circulatory support (tMCS) devices, and patient care.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Experience: 3 years' experience as a Critical Care RN
- Licensure/ Certification: Illinois Registered Nurse License, American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers)
- Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: Data management, Cardio-vascular Intensive Care Unit (CV-ICU) with ability to identify Cardiogenic Shock
- Licensure/ Certification: Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN)
- Other Skills/ Knowledge: Organization skills, ability to multi-task
