Expected pay for this position is $85.23 - $112.94/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Vice President of Operations OSF Medical Group (OSF MG) is responsible for communicating, implementing and monitoring the strategic objectives of the organization and assigned region.
Through strong working relationships with physician and administrative leaders, ensures the OSF Ministry goals and key outcomes are met by aligning the quality of care, access, experience and financial performance within OSF MG clinic operations.
Through the engagement and management of regional practice leadership, ensures that OSF MG creates and maintains a productive and engaging practice environment to improve access, affordability, and efficiency of care within the communities served by OSF MG.
The Vice President works in a dyad relationship with the Vice President of Clinical Operations to oversee and direct regional efforts and performance.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelors in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Experience:
- 5 years leadership in healthcare administration or top managerial position in a multi-location environment.
- Ability to independently solve complex business process problems in a collaborative manner, strategically and across multiple locations.
Other skills/knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Masters degree in Busiess, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Experience:
- 5 year’s experience leading, managing and directing multiple complex internal and/or external interdisciplinary projects that include healthcare providers, executives and other professional or non-professional personnel.
- 3 year’s experience utilizing Performance Improvement and Change Management tools and methodologies.
Other requirements/information: Motivates, promotes, and influences others to follow in a dynamic environment.
