Expected pay for this position is $59.05 - $69.47/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Program Director - AI is responsible for establishing and driving AI strategy, fostering innovation, and ensuring the enterprise's successful implementation of AI solutions. This individual will grow an AI team that collaborates extensively with business units and citizen developers across the company. They will champion the adoption of AI technologies to streamline processes and improve outcomes.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Healthcare, Business, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in the technology or healthcare industry with a track record of initiatives to achieve operational efficiency.
Other Skills/Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
- Solid understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning principles, data analytics, and automation technologies.
- While deep programming expertise is not mandatory, the candidate must be comfortable discussing technical concepts and learning new tools or platforms as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, Data Science, Computer Science, or related).
- Experience in the healthcare industry or other highly regulated environments.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT systems and automation technologies (Epic, Microsoft Copilot, UIPath).
- Prior experience establishing or scaling an innovation program, AI lab, or Center of Excellence is advantageous.
- Experience working with citizen development programs or coaching non-technical teams in technology adoption is highly valued.
- Licensure/Certification: Professional certifications or training in process improvement (Lean Six Sigma, PMP, etc.), change management, or data analytics/AI are a plus, indicating a commitment to continuous learning and quality improvement.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Hands-on familiarity with AI development or automation tools (such as Python, TensorFlow, UiPath, Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot Studio, etc.)
- Understanding of MLOps, data governance, and AI ethics principles would be an asset.
