Expected pay for this position is $41.65 - $49.00/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Revenue Cycle Strategist leads Revenue Cycle project teams that translate data into actionable information. These teams assist leadership with decision making for operational initiatives and strategic priorities, including improved financial performance and outcomes, productivity improvement, cost optimization, staffing, and system integration. The Strategist will manage large-scale projects, create innovative analyses, offer interpretation, employ sophisticated modeling techniques, present recommendations to management, and mentor team members in business analysis fundamentals, the utilization of creative problem solving, issue resolution, and the development of effective analytical solutions. Works with leadership to analyze operational and strategic performance to identify gaps, establish targets, and devise the most efficient and effective methods for measuring and displaying performance.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or business related field.
Experience:
7 years' progressively increasing responsibility in patient accounts, denials management, and complex billing processes and procedures.
Licensure/ Certification:
Epic Hospital Billing (HB) / Professional Billing (PB) / Single Billing Office (SBO) fundamental/reports certifications/training is required within 6 months of hiring.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Previous experience preparing and delivering both small and large group presentations to administrators, leaders, and others.
- Possesses time management skills required to deliver high-quality reports and information in a dynamic environment with critical deadlines.
- Demonstrated history of using reporting, spreadsheet, database, and statistical applications.
- Must demonstrate analytical skills necessary to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data and find practical solutions to difficult and complex problems.
