Expected pay for this position is $59.90 - $70.47/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.


Overview

This position could offer work-from-home option that is open to those who reside in Illinois 65 miles from an OSF Hospital location which would include: Peoria, Rockford, Bloomington, Evergreen Park, Galesburg, Urbana/Danville, Alton, Dixon, Kewanee, Mendota, Ottawa/Peru/Princeton.

1st and 2nd shift rotation, occasional 3rd shift coverage. Every other weekend. One major and one minor holiday is required to be worked.

POSITION SUMMARY: ​The eClinical Pharmacist reviews prescriptions, obtains clarifications, analyzes drug therapy and regularly consults with medical staff, nursing personnel and others in order to coordinate delivery of high quality pharmaceutical services to OSF HealthCare patients. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Licenses/Certifications: PHRM-Pharmacist

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) Pharmacy Practice PGY1 residency

Experience: 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience serving a variety of patient types

Licensure/Certification: Board Certification through Board of Pharmacy Specialties

Other requirements/information: Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and various other OSF HealthCare personnel when explaining medication use and gathering and exchanging other medication information. Analytical skills necessary in order to determine drug appropriateness and evaluate drug interactions. Demonstrated skills in independent problem solving, decision‑making abilities, and prioritization/delegation. Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of growth and development as well as the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information in an accurate manner. Competency in the use of an electronic medical record system.
