Expected pay for this position is $41.65 - $49.00/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinical Engineer II uses skills and knowledge to support multiple aspects of the Biomedical Equipment Services program. This includes oversight of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) program, and Alternative Equipment Maintenance (AEM) strategy and oversight and regulatory compliance. The clinical engineer will develop medical equipment capital planning & life-cycle management and implementation support & review of healthcare technology cyber security strategies as related to the Biomedical Department.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Associate's Degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field and 7 years of experience in a Biomedical/Clinical Engineering role OR Bachelor's Degree in Technology Engineering, Business, or related field and 2 years of experience in a BioMed/Clinical Engineering role.
Other Skills/Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
- Comprehensive understanding of CMMS programs.
- Aptitude for integrating regulatory requirements and standards into the Healthcare Technology Management program.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
