Expected pay for this position is $31.49 - $37.05/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.


Overview

$7,500 Sign On Bonus- 2 year work commitment

POSITION SUMMARY: The Lead Neurodiagnostic Technologist performs high quality electroencephalogram (EEG) on patients. This includes, but is not limited to, routine, continuous, and complex recordings. The Lead Technologist is responsible for ensuring complete and accurate data collection during EEG recording. Excellent patient service skills are required to facilitate the best possible patient experience for patients and family. An exceptional degree of attention to detail and documentation is required to ensure high quality recording for Physician interpretation, diagnosis, and facilitation of treatment/plan of care. Works closely with department leadership and delegates roles and responsibilities for smooth function of department.


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

High School Diploma/ GED

Graduate of an accredited neurodiagnostic program

Must hold the credentials of Registered Electroencephalogram Technologist (R. EEG T.)

Experience:

2 years’ experience in electro neurodiagnostic (END) field

Licensure/ Certification:

EEG Tech Registration from American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET).

American Heart Association CPR.

Other Skills/ Knowledge:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

Competent functioning in electronic medical record (EMR).

Able to facilitate crucial conversations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Intraoperative Monitoring (IOM) or Long-term Monitoring (LTM) certification

Experience:

5 years of work in EEG field

Other Skills/ Knowledge:

Proficient in NATUS, NeuroWorks, Somnoware, Nihon Koden, and EPIC
