Expected pay for this position is $38.75 - $45.59/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Program Specialist develops innovative programs to meet the strategic goals of OSF HealthCare. This position is responsible to provide high-quality clinical professional development programs, which utilize various blended education strategies and modalities. Utilizes adult/professional-learning theories and participates in the development of program curriculum, simulation, online learning programs, and other education teaching-learning technologies.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelors in Nursing
Licenses/Certifications: RN (Illinois or Michigan)
Experience:
- 1 year of experience in curriculum design and development.
- Previous experience in development and use of technologies for learning, such as simulation, mobile applications, and online learning platforms.
- Experience collaborating on multi-disciplinary project(s) and completing on a given budget and timeline.
Other skills/knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Master's Degree in Nursing or Education or Informatics
Licenses/Certifications:
Association for the Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) Certification credential (Nursing Professional Development – Board Certified [NPD-BC])
Experience:
- Clinical experience in a Home Care or Office/Clinic of at least 1 year.
- Prior experience in an educator role
Other skills/knowledge:
Willingness to travel to any service area within OSF HealthCare System
