Expected pay for this position is $193.00 - $241.25/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Vice President Service Line (SL) Physician Services Leader functions as the clinical leader for the Ministry Service Line. In partnership with the SL Administrative Leader, this individual leads the development of medical care guidelines and evidence -based care models. This individual will be directly responsible for setting the clinical agenda of the SL and driving quality by advancing the quadruple aim to ensure high-quality, reliable, standardized, and repeatable care, across the continuum (inpatient, hospital outpatient, ambulatory, and post-acute). As the strategic clinical leader of OSF's SL, this individual will convene and collaborate with physicians and APPs across our ministry while collaborating with other disciplines including quality/safety, legal, risk, compliance, strategy, innovation, and partnership opportunities. This individual drives the development and market differentiation of the Service Line. Part-time clinical practice will be required, anticipated to be at least 50% or greater, though the specific minimum time requirement is flexible as determined by the Chief Population Health Officer.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Doctor (DO)
Experience:
- 8 years' experience in administrative management and/or medical experience as a group, facility or system medical director
Licensure/ Certification:
- Physician license to practice medicine in Illinois or Michigan Federal and State Controlled substance license American Board of Medical Specialties Certification
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
- Demonstrated execution and success with quality outcome performance
- Working knowledge of current CMS/Joint Commission conditions of participation
- Working knowledge of State of Illinois rules and regulations governing healthcare
