Expected pay for this position is $33.52 - $39.44/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Grant Financial Analyst is responsible for all Grant post-award accounting activities including preparing all monthly and quarterly grant financial reports, ensuring financial compliance with all grant requirements, and overall financial monitoring of all grant activity in accordance with OSF and grant guidelines.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Experience: 3 years’ experience in financial grant compliance and/or public accounting single audit experience
Other skills/knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensure/Certifications: CPA or CMA Understanding of the healthcare industry, trends, issues, risks, etc.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in finance in an integrated healthcare environment.
- Advanced computer skills with strong knowledge of spreadsheet programs.
- Ability to perform under changing circumstances and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to learn quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
