Expected pay for this position is $21.72/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.

Mon-Fri 8am-430pm. Rotating weekends/holidays

POSITION SUMMARY: The Hospice Support Specialist performs administrative support to the OSF Hospice Home and scheduling/referral processing for community hospice agencies. Duties include providing secretarial support, overseeing invoices, assists with Volunteer services for the Hospice Home. Project management skills and customer service skills are key to this role.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma/ GED Experience: 1 year experience in an office clerical setting or customer service environment Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. Intermediate level in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Proficient with email and calendaring systems and data collection for reports. Demonstrates secretarial, administrative, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to prioritize work Uses judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential communications and documents. Able to coordinate with leadership to find solutions to various administrative office problems. Ability to work independently and maintain a calm demeanor in stressful situations.
