$5,000 -1 year work commitment

$10,000 - 2 year work commitment

Ideal Candidate would be certified in Lymphedema or be willing to be mentored in Lymphedema with the expectation to eventually be certified.

OSF Rehabilitation Sheridan Road is a multidisciplinary clinic that serves a wide variety of neurological and orthopedic diagnoses. This bustling clinic has 20+ therapists with multiple different specialty programs such as: LSVT Big/LOUD, Speak OUT!, lymphedema, vestibular, Industrial Rehabilitation, and the only downstate Certified Driving School. Mission Partners at this location pride themselves on providing the most evidence based and compassionate care.

Expected pay for this position is $27.26 - $32.06/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Physical Therapist Assistant, under the general supervision of a Physical Therapist, assists in administering the Physical Therapists' treatment plan. Administers and monitors patient's response to therapeutic exercises, transfer training, gait training, and other treatments in accordance with the physical therapists treatment plan.


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy

Licensure/Certifications:

  • State license as Physical Therapist Assistant
  • CPR certification within 90 days of hire​​

Skills/knowledge:

  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills to work well with others and to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information.
  • Analytical ability to identify and report changes in patient's condition to a physical therapist.
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information in an accurate manner.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Valid driver's license
