Starting pay for this position is $16.83/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
Hours of Operation:
Monday- Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Nursing Assistant will provide safe basic care along the care team including RN, LPN, and PCT which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes, repositioning, feeding, etc . Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and supportive services needed for specified group of patients in assigned areas, for all age groups, which will contribute to the comfort and well-being of the patient.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- License/Certifications: BLS - American Heart Association
- Experience: N/A
- Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
