POSITION SUMMARY: The nurse resident engages is a 12-month program that offers new graduate nurses a place of BELONGING where they can learn, grow, and thrive as they transition from students to safe and competent professionals. The residency program provides dedicated preceptors, workshops, mentorship, connection time, and well-being sessions. Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)
- Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: BSN
- Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
- Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
