Expected pay for this position is $22.90 - $26.94/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Project Assistant will assist with the management of multiple projects, and specific project tasks within project work plans and development of presentations. Responsible for coordinating events, arranging meetings, recording minutes, and other duties in support of project activities. Responsible for supporting and coordinating the division calendar(s) inclusive of leadership calendars. Assists in designing, implementing, and managing standard documentation templates and tools to support project management activities. Assists with data collection; data analysis and summarization; and preparation of presentation graphics, flow charts, and other project related communications. Provides timely and accurate reporting of project performance metrics, including progress and outcomes. Ensuring project activities are in compliance with defined standards and assists with the management of customer expectations and customer interactions.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School/GED
Experience: 3 years of office experience with a focus on customer service Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: Familiarity or experience with project management and performance improvement methodologies is preferred. 1 year of experience with facilitation and documentation of project related meetings.
Other requirements/information: Demonstrated knowledge and expertise with spreadsheet (including graphs), database and presentation applications. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook Calendar tools. Possesses knowledge of desktop applications such as Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Teams. Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy. Exceptional reading, writing, and grammar skills is required to facilitate proofing and editing (punctuation, grammar, and spelling) of documents, correspondence, minutes.
