POSITION SUMMARY: The Supervisor, Physician Office-non RN supervises, directs, and schedules team members within the clinic locations. They are responsible for the day to day activities of a medical office practice and collaborates with team members to meet patient needs. Works with office leadership to evaluate the overall performance of team members towards the delivery of high quality patient care. Effectively addresses business operation needs and partners with office leadership on recommending budgets and assuring adherence to policies and procedures. Maintains cooperative working relationships with physicians, advance practice providers, OSFMG Coordinators, Medical Center personnel, other OSF entities, and external agencies and organizations. They lead by example, conduct themselves in a positive and professional manner, and is an advocate for the team members in the practice.
*CMA or RN experience preferred: Currently, the Site Supervisor manages clinic schedule, patient complaints, billing concerns, staff disciplinary actions, Train the Trainer, payroll processing, MOA coverage as needed, completes Diabetic Eye Exam, supports key metrics, and supports providers as needed.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Associate's degree
- Experience: 2 years experience in a healthcare office setting
- Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: Leadership experience
- Other skills/knowledge: Ability to multitask and prioritize Microsoft office
