Salary range for this position is $61,068-$71,864. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.

Position is for the Integrated Solutions Business Planning department.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Auditing Specialist performs detailed evaluation of internal controls and audit reviews of systems & processes. Designs and develops audit procedures, processes and audit software/tools needed to perform the auditing function. Performs a range of audit functions, including internal business process or system audits, process improvements, policy/procedure development, disaster recovery reviews, risk assessments, financial analysis and system or process control reviews.

Develops Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms needed to deliver KPIs.
Evaluates the design and effectiveness of business & technology controls throughout the business cycle.
Identifies risks associated with infrastructure, operations and systems including pre/post implementation audit reviews for ongoing projects.
Develops and executes internal audit procedures and the creation of internal audit reports.
Prepare reports for internal management executives. Summarizes audit objectives, scope, findings, conclusions and management response. Conducts oral and written presentations to all levels of management, as appropriate, during and upon the completion of audits. Ensures audit summary is prepared within established deadlines.
Develops Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms needed to deliver KPIs.
Acts as liaison for internal management and external auditors.
Follows up on audit findings to ensure that management has taken corrective action(s).
Assists and trains other audit staff in the use of computerized audit techniques, and in developing methods for review and analysis of business systems.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, Healthcare related degree in Supply Chain, Bio-Medical or Facilities Management

Other Licenses/Certifications: Must currently have or willing to obtain any of these certifications within 18 months of hire: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).

Experience: 3 years of experience working in healthcare related area such as HealthCare Information Technology, HealthCare Bio-Medical Technology, HealthCare Supply Chain, or HealthCare Facilities Management.

Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
