Expected pay for this position is $35.64- $52.35/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides quality patient care to critically ill patients, through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. Serves as a patient advocate at all times.
Supervises the nursing care provided to each patient by other caregivers. Develops the plan for nursing care as a result of coordination with the patient, family and staff of other disciplines as necessary. Applies critical thinking in order to promote positive clinical outcomes. Ensures patient education. Participates in discharge planning.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma/ GED
Experience:
-Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan) Licensure/ Certification:
-Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider
-BLS is required prior to start date of employment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: BSN
Experience: Experience as an RN in a critical care setting
Other Skills/ Knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
