Expected pay for this position is $38.71 - $51.28/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager of Institute of Learning is responsible for the management of the staff and functions of the Institute of Learning. Provides oversight in the ongoing development, coordination, and evaluation of Ministry-wide training for programs in which the deployment of information technology is needed. Responsible for ensuring training standards are implemented and evaluated for effectiveness in collaboration with facility designated education leads. Ensures the coordination and integration of training work plans with all areas affected, including facility leads, IT, facility leadership, and other stakeholders, as needed.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Masters
- 3 years of experience in curriculum design and education
- 3 years of experience in healthcare
- 3 years of experience with project management
Other skills/knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: Previous leadership experience
Other skills/knowledge:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage training project plans, including critical work breakdown and key resources
- Demonstrated ability to assess effectiveness, situation, evaluate risks, and make recommendations and create and provide quality assurance on detailed training curriculum
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with diverse groups and resolve conflicts appropriately, including making presentations and adapt style and content of communication for technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to understand relationships within systems and integrate processes
- Knowledge of organization operating procedures, approval processes, customer communication protocols and processes, and basic budgeting
- Knowledge of information-dissemination processes and standards within the organization
