Expected pay for this position is $40.83 - $48.03/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Ministry Performance Improvement Specialist assists in supporting the management of improvement projects, typically high in complexity, from original concept through implementation to results. The Ministry Performance Improvement Specialist serves as a key enabler of improvement activities across the Ministry by integrating people, process, and technology following departmental project management standards. Responsible for completing workflow and application design, completing business assessments, developing and managing project budgets, developing and managing detailed project work plans, and implementing solutions for projects involving performance improvement activities as part of driving an innovative culture.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) with emphasis in Clinical, Business or Health Administration OR equivalent experience of at least 3 years in healthcare delivery and Management, Business or Consulting
- Experience with performance improvement methodologies and tools and project management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in healthcare
- Experience in roles where key skills of critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, relationship building and public speaking were needed
