Must be currently enrolled in the Surg Tech Program at ICC
Starting pay for this position is $18.00/hour
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to a Clinical Associate and working under the supervision of a registered nurse and certified surgical technologist, the intern will follow the department policies, procedures and standards. The intern will assist the surgeon during the operative procedure by maintaining inventory, passing instruments and supplies, and holding retractors. Cleans operating room and stores equipment and supplies. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served (newborn through geriatric).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Must currently be in Surgical Tech program, and have completed a clinical rotation, and is within one semester of completion of the program.
Licensure/Certifications:
- American Heart Association CPR (BLS)
